Grades K-6 (see below for grades 7 and older)

Faith Formation will occur on the first Sunday of each month from October to May. Then parents (or another responsible adult) will guide their family through three brief but meaningful activities in the weeks before our next month's meeting. Each month, families will be provided packets with materials and everything they need, including all the words to say, to make the activities in the in-between weeks fun and fruitful.

Families will come together for 10 am Mass on the dates below and then parents will join together for a presentation in the gym and children will go with their peer groups to have a lesson with catechists and do an activity. This will all occur in the church, gym and rooms of St. Joan of Arc School, concluding by 12:30.

Our students in Grades 7 and older begin preparation for Confirmation

Confirmation formation at SJA is a two-year experience. Meetings are generally on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 6:15-8 pm. Dinner is included. (A detailed calendar will soon be published considering holidays and Holy Days.) Second-year students who complete the requirements of the program are Confirmed at St. Joan of Arc in the spring.

Our 1st and 2nd year Faith Formation Confirmation students meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 6:15 to 8 p.m. (This includes dinner.)

Cost (2024/2025)

The fee is $125 per family. The fee increased to $150 after August 1st. There are additional materials fees for those preparing for sacraments - $60 for First Reconciliation & Eucharist, and $50 each year for Confirmation to cover books in year one and additional materials and the retreat in year two.

• First Communion is the first weekend in May. Saturday, May 3rd at 1 pm and 4 pm Mass.

• April 7th, 7 pm Confirmation Mass - Students and sponsors arrive by 6:30.
